dgrinnan
I checked on DCM Classics and did not see anything. Should there be some sort of gasket between the headlight bucket and fender on a 47 1/2 ton?
lostviking
I'll try to remember to check when I get home. I have one of them off right now. Tim

Young Ed
I looked in my 41-47 parts manual and I see a mounting pad listed for the cowl lights but not for the headlights. Only mounting pad I see is for the special rule trucks with the headlights mounted lower. Book calls them the 42" height limit
dgrinnan
Thanks. I wanted to confirm before I mounted them.
Veemoney
The headlight 3 wire plug has a ground wire that screws to the inside of the headlight bucket and mine had no gaskets when attaching to the fender. Headlight bucket therefore needs to ground through the fender to frame. You could run a separate ground wire to each bucket from the frame for a clean connection which I did on mine.
