Bingster Posted August 21, 2022 Report Share Posted August 21, 2022 I bought a remote start button a few years ago and a mechanic friend of mine helped to turn the engine over. He hooked up the remote button, as I have no help now, I see that the black battery lead went to the large terminal on the starter and the red to the generator. I can't see the red battery cable because it's under the generator. I'm assuming that I can just connect the battery cables to the battery and away I go. plymouthcranbrook Posted August 21, 2022 Report Share Posted August 21, 2022 I have one for turning over the motor while tuning and I just hook it up to the solenoid where the negative lead comes from the battery and the other lead to the first small terminal next to it.
