MarcDeSoto Posted May 20, 2022 Report Share Posted May 20, 2022 I'm missing the vacuum line on my distributor on my 48 DeSoto. I have two questions. What size line should I buy 3/16, 5/16, or ? Is this how it is routed? see pics which showing the line going around the front of the block behind the water pump and down the left side of the block to the distributor. James_Douglas Posted May 20, 2022 Report Share Posted May 20, 2022 I just use a rubber line over the top of the head. Size does not really matter much. desoto1939 Posted May 20, 2022 Report Share Posted May 20, 2022 on my 39 desoto the line runs over the top of the head and then connects to the carb.
