Sal M. Posted December 23, 2021 Report Share Posted December 23, 2021 I have a 47 Dodge that will not go into gear it is a Fluid drive. I took it to the shop and they said the linkage was fine and the problem is inside the transmission. Thet woul have to open it up to tell me what the problem is. A friend has a transmission from a 1940 Plymouth and said it shold fit right in. Can anyone give me some input. I have been working on this 47 Convertable and have been putting it back together.
