John H. Posted November 8, 2021 Report Share Posted November 8, 2021 I need spring shackles for the rear of the front leaf springs. Somewhere I have heard that the rear spring shackles will fit the front. I have nothing to compare with as the front shackles are missing altogether. tanda62 Posted November 11, 2021 Report Share Posted November 11, 2021 For a 53 B4C you are correct. If you zoom in the pictures you will see both the front and rear and they are the same. I got new ones from DCM but I just checked and they are currently out of stock, I am sure other vendors carry these maybe Roberts? Also note the drivers side is left hand thread while passenger is right hand thread, just like the wheel lug nuts. I had ordered some stuff from Vic's Garage recently and had asked them about shackles. They said the outfit that manufactures them had been falling behind due to all of the Covid fallout.
