Correct Radiator Hoses

Does anyone carry the older style radiator hoses?

They have the appearance of 'wound tape' on the exterior

Also wondering what type/style of hose clamps would be correct for 1948?

Just bought exactly that hose two days ago at Carquest...2" and 2-1/4" each about 2 foot long. USA hose.

59 bucks! Sold by the inch.

Probably do much better online...maybe.

Now just need to figure out which clamps to use, I have seen two styles,

not the worm gear, but the two wire and metal band.

That raises a good question. When did Chrysler stop using the 'wrapped' engine hoses?

That is a good question,

Based on the diagrams in the parts book, it looks like Dodge used Double Wire Grip Radiator Hose Clamps.

While there is no diagram of my particular model, the part numbers are the same across the board.

So that will be the route I am going, several available on EBay.
