First let me apologize if I am doing this incorrectly.  Here is my issue..... 1950 Dodge B2B is leaking oil that appears to be coming from behind the distributor cap.  Is there a gasket or o ring that I may be missing or do I have other problems?  Any help or input would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you !

Take a look at your plumbing for the oil filter.  May feed line was cracked under the flange nut.  Made a mess of left side of the engine and firewall.

I thought they may have been the issue at first.  But I can see the oil running down from the distributor.  Just need to find where I can get a seal.  Suggestions??

The original seal was a cork O-ring...

You can use a rubber O-ring of the correct OD and ID.

Measure the OD of the distributor base housing shaft and block bore diameter.

Then find a supplier or parts store with knowledgable sales staff to help you.
