I'd still ask Gas Monkey if they do that sort of thing...........I'm only going on what you see on the TV show but I'd think that in general there should be someone there who could do it or can they suggest another shop or person which does that sort of thing...........andyd

Gas monkey has some nice cars ... All their workers seem to be very young, not sure would call then high end specialist.

While they do many high end restorations ... Seems everything they buy is almost pristine and simply needs cleaned up.

I have not seen them take on a real tough job. The last month they have been buying large lots of motorcycles and cars. They have been cherry picking the clean stuff, then auction off the rest.

They are working on the clean stuff but not real projects.

With all that said, I suggest you go to Gasmonkey garage and buy some merchandise.

They are giving away any car in there garage ... Basically they are giving away $100k in September?

They have a lot of nice cars. You win the drawing and you walk through the shop and pick out the car you want to take home. You pick out a $30k car and you will find $70k in the glove box. You pick out a $80k car, will find $20k in the glove box.

And if you buy a T shirt or a coffee mug from them, every purchase gives you a ticket in the drawing.

I got nothing on a high end restoration shop ... Simply never heard of any good from other shops.

I think I would fly there and do my own inspection....certainly worth the cost.

If not capable yourself meet someone you hire to help inspect the vehicle and be with the person or persons....

Then you will most likely know 100% what you are buying.

Silly not to do a in person visit if there is some serious money involved.
