tollertdi
I'm trying to find a source for my P15 Floorboard Master Cylinder Cover which is missing from my car. The same part is used on 42-52 Plymouths and 42-48 Dodge/Desoto. Can anyone help me?
Doug&Deb
I don’t know of anyone that makes it. I’d try salvage yards. Moore’s in South Dakota comes to mind.
Sam Buchanan
I made one for my '48 P15 out of some scrap aluminum sheet. It's under the carpet so is hidden from critical eyes. ? Plymouthy Adams
like Sam said, this is not a hard item to replicate at the house with common shop tools....you may wish to cut the loss time and try your hand to fabricate a fix....at worst you get a stop gap fix as you scour about for a factory piece. You may surprise yourself as to the one you make.
Ron175
Would this work? https://www.c2cfabrication.com/products/1949-52-plymouth-savoy-front-floor-pan-access-panel-left-side-only
Plymouthy Adams
as I read the request, he is looking for the cover that fits over the oval hole which is the access to the master cylinder...
moparfun
You might try Turners in Fresno, 1 559 237 0918, they have several cars there and they'll ship where ever needed.
ChrisMinelli
To be honest the factory covers were not great. The one I have warped over time and now is a lump under the carpet. I suggest, if you make one, to not attach it with a swivel or hinge. Just make it so it comes out of the floor and you have access to the master cylinder. Trust me. plymouthcranbrook
I found a NOS on Flea-bay for not too much money a few years ago.
