Booger
Booger has a main shaft oil leak on its 3 sp manual trannny. Im assuming drop the DS and go to work. Service manual calls for E brake puller C 452. Then removal of seal with tools C497 and tool C579! This doesnt sound like DIY. I wish the hell Walter P was alive...Takre to tranny shop? plymouthcranbrook
My 52 had a leaky rear trans seal and after looking at it I took it directly to the local shop that also does old cars. About $180 later, all fixed.
DJK
Not a big deal, no special tools needed. Tapped off drum gently with hammer, removed seal with seal puller/pry bar. Plan on needing a Speedi sleeve to repair hub and a modern neoprene seal.
