jim6346
Does anyone know what color the jack and handle should be? This one is pretty rusted. Thanks! Jim

desoto1939
I would say Black also and many judges do not even know the correct color. If it is panted a funky color like pink or purple then they would spot it as not being the correct color. Rich Hartung
Eneto-55
As Cannuk's photo shows is how I remember bumper jacks. The stem was probably not painted at all - cadmium plated, is my guess.
Skrambler
The jack that is in the trunk of my 41 Plymouth sedan is black. The gloss is almost an exact match of the color the inside of the trunk is. This is an original car. The car has been in our family since it was purchased new in late 1940. Funny thing about the use of the jack is that when one goes to use it to fix a flat tire, the jack does not lower enough to get it under the bumper!!! So, I keep a small bottle jack hidden just in case!
