John Fleming
I am requesting information about part number 952585 . Clutch release fork pull back bracket . My parts book does show a very small drawing of the part. I would like to know the size of this part and were it is located on the car. A verbal description, drawing, picture , or full size tracing will be most helpful . Please share your knowledge with me a fellow P15 owner. Eneto-55
I drew up this bracket in CAD for someone, and posted downloads in the following post:
John Fleming
A big thankyou to Eneto-55 for the dimensions of the bracket. Please tell me what the bracket attaches too .
Eneto-55
The best pictures for that (and a lot of other things) were posted by Don Coatney, but a lot of his photos were hosted on an external site, and so after he passed away, those links are now broken. But here is one that I copied from one of his posts. You will see it there, attached to the lower edge of the bell housing.
John Fleming
A big thank you to the members who shared information . I made a bracket and installed it problem solved. This forum is great . Respectfully John Fleming
chrysler1941
Just viewed the cad drawing by Eneto-55, very nice !? I remember we had this discussion on the forum some time ago, this bracket only works for manual and fluid drive transmission with M5-M6. It's not used on the M4 pre war Fluid Drive, they have a different clutch house. I even had the bracket. Later found spring connects to hole in frame.
