kencombs Posted March 12, 2021 Report Posted March 12, 2021 Another possibilty is an alternator driven vacuum pump. They were used on some light duty diesel trucks. I have one off of a Mitsubishi . If planning a 12v conversion, replacing or converting to an alternator they would be a good alternative to an added motor and pump,, Quote
lostviking Posted August 20, 2021 Report Posted August 20, 2021 If you are going to all this trouble, why not just change to electronic wipers. I prefer the vacuum ones, so I'm removing the electric conversion the last owner did and putting my rebuilt vacuum motors back in. But if you are going to the trouble to add a vacuum assist...why not just electric conversion? Quote
