rgreskoviak
Good afternoon, I am having some fender skirts for my 1946 Royal painted black; however, the auto body shop is having trouble finding a modern code. I would also like to keep a little for touch up. I do know that they used lacquer based paints in the past. Does anybody have a suggestion or code from Ditzler or Dupont with a modern number? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Robt
ccudahy
According to https://paintref.com/paintref/index.shtml website, there are 2 blacks for 1946. You will have to figure out if you are a 103 or 104 paint code, but here are the cross references. The 103 has a modern day equivalent.
