Billy
When the parts book refers to 7 pass., which body style are they talking about?
sidevalvepete
Seven passenger sedan. Sort of a limo without the glass screen behind driver. Look up Westaus, a member from Perth , Australia who is restoring a 38 Plymouth 7 passenger sedan. Has some pics of his build.
Billy
Then a 4 door sedan or 2 door sedan would be a 5 passenger?

sidevalvepete
My original ccomment regarding the limo could be misleading. The 7 passenger sedans had a couple of fold down seats in front of the back seat and behind the front seat. They were longer wheelbase, probably identical to the limo if that was also an option, but they ar ex two different models.

Sniper
This is a Packard, but the jump seat concept is similar.
Andydodge
Generally the extra length was between the back of the front seat or centre door pillar and the rear edge of the back door, 7 Passenger and Limos tended to have the same seating arrangements and body/wheelbase dimensions, the difference is that as stated the Limo has an opening glass partition and generally an intercom or speaker system for rear seat passengers to speak to the driver.......as 7 passenger cars did not have the glass partition the rear seat passengers could just yell at the driver their instructions................lol.........andyd
