toddb
Getting ready to work on the brakes on my 55 Royal Lancer - 270 Super Red Ram/Power Flight. I'm pretty sure it came with power brakes but the master cylinder doesn't look like the one shown in the FSM. There was an old one in the trunk so not sure which is original. Can anyone tell me if this looks right? Thanks
Bbdakota
It's not the same as my 56 royal but I'm not sure about a 55. Mine has a bellow type booster above the master cylinder and a vacuum tank mounted on the inter fender Edited December 10, 2020 by Bbdakota
toddb
Thanks. That's quite a bit different. The booster in the 55 FSM looks like mine but the master cylinder looks different. Kind of like someone put a regular cylinder on the booster. Not sure what the PO did or what parts are interchangeable.
Frank Gooz
The first picture look a lot like the one from my 64 Plymouth that had standard brakes.
