1952 - Crankbrook
Thanks for the add. I just drove this beautiful car from oregon to Los Angeles and noticed an exhaust leak. Trying to get the manifold off and needed a little help. Pretty sure i got all the studs and nuts off but feels stuck in the middle. Is there a bolt close to carb? I removed the one behind the manifold under the car.

keithb7
I had two long bolts here that I overlooked. They are seen below here circled in red. The rest were all nuts and washers on studs.

greg g
The magic number is 13. Plus the four that hold the manifolds together at the heat exchanger. Remove as an assembly seperate on the bench if needed.
maddmaxx1949
The middle one is often missed I missed it more than once. Like Greg said, 13 is the number you are looking for. If you get all of them out you can give the manifold a few taps to unstick it be careful though as they are cast and prone to crack.
