Thanks to everyone's help I got the mounting bracket sorted, but the actual part that swings down to block the sun was in sad shape. I bought a set of them off of Rock Auto. When they arrived I could not get them to slide onto the mounting rod. So rather than my usual ham fisted ram it on philosophy I reached out to the manufacturer on how to install them. Acme Auto, who never deigned to respond. So I dropped back and punted. I got a good look at the gut of the visor as related to how they fit on the rod and ended up using a large #3 phillips screwdriver to waller out the clamp inside the visor. Just enough that I could force it together without mangling anything. Took a lot of effort though. In the end, I think it was worth it.
