Relocate old coil spring plate to Lower 1947 speical deluxe

I put 52 chrysler windsor lower arms/springs  in my 51 plymouth when I was 16 to make it sit higher.

The chrysler springs were too long to fit on the plymouth  top seat so I then installed the chrysler lower seat A-arms...car sat couple inches higher with the stiffer chrysler springs.

That was over 50 years ago.

The bump stops are what limit the control arm movement, unless he changed the size of those the shock won't bottom out.

 

All he's doing is changing the angle of the control arms to lower the body, which probably means he'll be bottoming out more.
