Spare Tire Well

YukonJack

Recommended Posts

Hey Jack,  It was a long time ago but I repaired/replaced mine with a aftermarket trailer fender.  Cut the old one away, made the "side panels" and flanges with sheet stock and welded in place.  Turned out pretty tidy but wouldn't fool anyone who was really anal about being original.

I took one out of a parts car...I drilled the spot welds out to remove both tire wells completely.

Button welded the "new" tire well spot welds...looked factory.

I took a look at the Plymouth Doctor's offerings, I did not see any spare tire wells listed.

Wouldn't hurt to ask him though. he might know a source.
