So I put it in a white priority box of the same size, shipping COST dropped to $23.00. Destination, North Carolina, USA. DJ194950
Sure has gotten over the top complicated these days. Thanks for the time spent checking prices especially for the shipping payer? I have fought with Fed-Ex drop off points over their on-line shipping policies on line versus a local store. Made them check and got manager involved. Shipped a Mopar 3rd member also to N.C. I was told to heavy, must be shipped truck at 3 times the price I had told the buyer. After checking the manager said it Did fit the their size and weight limitations easily for the standard ship prices. Done and done. Arrived in three days form Ca. to N.C.! It just happened to be heavier than what they were used to dealing with. Sorry (Not) ! Thanks for the reminder to check prices even if it just because you are trying to be nice to a buyer! ? HotRodTractor
Except with USPS it might never get there, tracking will be spotty at best, it might arrive as an empty box, or it will be declared lost.... and then arrive 6 weeks later. All things that have happened to me within the last 3 months.
pflaming
I sold “gave” a six bladed fan to a buyer in Australia, UPS, $145. Took it to the PO and shipped it for less than $25.00. Arrived on time! But then years ago, they found a Pony Express rider under a large tree wit an arrow in his back and the postal bag unmolestested. So they’ve had problems before! I guess you just take your chances.
