Just signed up and looking at the site and trying to figure it out.

My 1st car had been parked 25 years in the garage. Had it since 1974.

Plan to get it back on the road so looking to network in Renton/Newcastle area.

thanks...

(John?)

it seems like a good group

with amazing networking.

Right now I’m still fumbling about in the

home page of the club.

And fumbling around under the car.

75 years of grease and dirt keep me busy these last few days.

Again. - thanks for the message

Welcome to the Forum!  You will indeed find a wealth of information in these pages.  One recommendation is that you post pictures of your project whenever you can.  We all enjoy them immensely, and sometimes they'll help us help you.  Coker is not really the only bias-ply game in town, but I've noticed that most of the places that sell vintage style tires sell products from Coker anyway.  I have Coker wide whitewall radials on our D24, which had Coker's reproduction BF Goodrich Silvertown WW bias plies on it before.  We've never had a problem with them, product or company wise.

Hello Pablito,

This is a great resource for early Mopar enthusiasts. Has been invaluable to me just about every time I work on my truck. Lots of people who are eager to help you. There's lot's of information on old posts as well.  I struggle a bit with the search feature. Perhaps I haven't learned to use it correctly? I have better luck searching a topic on google for example. (OEM tires Plymouth P15 p15d24) which will list all kinds of past P15d24 threads about that topic. Pictures are a plus.

Welcome Paul,

I work at Renton Technical College near your house, I'm the aerospace instructor there.

My Plymouth is in Spanaway, I drive 70 miles each way on the weekends to work on it.

That's the cost of owning a condo.

So what is your 1st car.  My mother bought me my 48 Plymouth in 1968, I spent 20 years in the US Army and been working on my car since 1995.

Its a 1947 Special De Lux,

need to get a pic or two.

Yesterday I felt like an archeologist

as I carefully dug down thru decades

of dirt and asphalt (2-3” thick in places)to “discover”

the backside of my headlights!2DD997B3-EC80-4291-8999-299FA3FA9B7D.jpeg.208ea34bce971eb28ce7397f3838828b.jpeg
