Exterior stainless trim installed.

40 years since I remove this trim so putting it in was intimidating.

Turned out very easy after all.

Lots of tape to protect the paint.

Push it all firmly into place until the two ends lineup with the slot in the body ,on the interior side of the door.

Clip over the seem, tab on back bends into the door frame slot.

Congratulations! Don't you just love putting cleaned up pieces back on a fresh paint job. It really makes the car seem like it is coming back together and close to the road!

Yes !  Looks and feels good.

Many years of gathering and preparing parts to get to this.

Been there and done that. 90% of your time is cleaning, repairing, or replacing old crap. 10% is putting all of the nice stuff back together but worth all the effort to get there.

It is so nice to get a restored car out on the road for the first time!

clay it is looking so nice and you are taking your time to put it back together.  Fall Carlise was a real bust you should glad that you did not go. Lots of empty vendor spots. Most venders thought it would be packed and fullof venders becasue of not having hershey next week but maybe that is the reason.

No major Mopar dealers not even ed speigel no packard dealers either some hit a miss dealers but mostly junk.

Looking forward to Hershey of next year 2021.
