wagoneer Posted July 20, 2020 Report Posted July 20, 2020 While bleeding my brakes, I found some other DIYer or mechanic has stripped the bleeder screws on my front brakes. Stripped them almost round. I can find all sorts of replacement bleeder screws that are generic online, but pointer to ones for these drums? Also, hints as to how to get them out to replace? I wasn't very successful with pliers that just seem to strip them more. Quote
P15-D24 Posted July 20, 2020 Report Posted July 20, 2020 By stripped you mean rounding off the corners of the "nut" section? Vice grips always worked for me. Quote
keithb7 Posted July 20, 2020 Report Posted July 20, 2020 Vice grips, them take them down to your local brick & mortar auto parts store. They could be able to match them up easily. Quote
