Greetings all,

Does anyone know the torque specs for the crankshaft pulley on a flathead 6 (251)? It is not the original engine in the truck but the truck is a 1947. Thanks.

When there is no spec listed in the service manual then a chart like this comes in real handy.

And if you happen to need it, the metric version

Check your dodge service manual under the engine data. In the Plymouth manual under the same it lists the torque for the crankshaft nut as 108 ft pds min. for a 217 cid eng. Hopefully the dodge manual lists the specs.
