1940 road King sedan floor pans

Recommended Posts

Hi all, I finally got my 40 road King sedan in the shop to start working on it and realized the floor is way worse then I first thought. I'm going to have to put new floor plans in but I'm having a heck of a time finding any.

Anyone have any idea who makes floor plans for these cars?

Thanks.

I am in the process of finishing up the floors on my '52 Suburban - i used aftermarket patch panels from a USA company,  Classic 2 Current Fabrication, and was very pleased with the fit and quality. Not sure if they have them for a P9 though.

They list a few Plymouth parts but they specify Coupe vs sedan. I have emailed them and I'm waiting to hear back.

As a general rule 2 & 4 sedans and coupes use the same floor pan and rockers although the door gap distance will be longer in the coupe & 2 dr sedan than the 4dr front door opening........Dieseldad, for what you want a coupe floor area should be the same.........andyd

Not sure if the Plymouth Doctor is still in business but their products were great.

I thought there were issues with delivery for some members. Do a search and check to be sure.
