Tooljunkie
The pin in back of transmission is leaking. Its not the bolt. Suggestions?
Al Peterson
Mine does the same thing, will be interested to hear a response. Although I think someone posted in another topic they use form-a-gasket?
The Oil Soup
Someone had a thread on rebuilding their engine/trans (Beebe?) and pulled that part, cut a groove in it and reinstalled it with an o-ring on it, that seems like the best fix.
Tooljunkie
If i knew there was another leak i would have considered the same thing. Guess it comes out again. grooving for an o-ring is pretty simple, getting to it, bit of a pain. I may see it i can get shaft out by just pulling top cover. should have never cleaned it i guess. TFC
Had the same issue, this is what I did about a year ago, cap made from brass and soldered, rubber gasket at the base, still holding and dry.
The Oil Soup
Without tearing into the transmission that is a great solution!
