I'm building a topless roadster, but the law will still require working wipers. I thought I'd ask before moving hell and earth to dig mine out of the parts collection and try it. The valve that reverses the motor at the end of a stroke ports vacuum to the side of the 'flapper' in the direction of the next movement. The air pressure on the opposite side moves the flapper. If air pressure were supplied in the same way, it would push in the wrong direction. Maybe one could modify that valve to operate so that it ported pressure to the correct side.
