Mopar Pro aftermarket fuel tanks ok?

Are these MoparPro replacement fuel tanks ok (drop in works, no fitment or quality issues)?

I am thinking of getting one for my 39 coupe rather than clean up the original one (which has bad gas in it).

thanks,

Rebecca

I used there tank on my 48 D24. No problems at all. I'm happy with it. Personally, if a new tank is available, my opinion is to put in a new tank. The protective coating (zinc, galvanized) has surely been compromised on an old tank. My old tank was coated by previous owner with some aftermarket product but still continued to rust and was very nasty when I replaced it.

thanks. I agree and will try one. I had an experience with a Buick where the tank looked good but the filler neck part was not identical and had to do a hack. I hope that this one is identical so that it is just a swap. Rebecca

The previous owner of my '38 Dodge sedan installed this unit and it  works fine. An alternative if you do not need a stock look.
