Those swan neck mirrors  are $1700.00...very nice repro's...

I installed a set for.a customer on his 1948 NewYorker 3 pass cpe.

Damn! I passed up a set of used repro's at a swap meet for $100

get your piggy bank and start emptying you wallet into it...spare change just not going to cut it.....you may wish to BOLO for spare cowl trim and make your own setup with later swan necks and a hidden plinth.

Speaking of cowl trim. I recently saw the left & right P15 cowl trim online for $99 and change. They were both battered pieces of crud.

I'm not sure if the seller was using the price as a place saver to keep the listing active while dealing with something, or if they thought they had struck gold.

I used to find better ones lying on the ground where they fell after the mounting clip rusted out:)

Went from a peep mirror to a swan neck and it didn't even cost $100 new.

swan necks are out there in generic form and  very nicely made for a reasonable price for the pair.  I have a few sets of these.....per application the mounting differs.....you can mount these to the trim if you wish....but I do recommend a plinth or filler of some sort....the anti rotational stud makes these very versatile.

I guess nevermind on that. I don't think I'm into my car total for that much!  I love my car, but I do all the repairs on the inexpensive.  Thanks though.
