Fender script

I think your fender or script has been replaced... both sides should say Coronet GYRO-Matic

GYRO-MATIC being under the Coronet I think it was a bronze colored nameplate.

Here's a fender script you will only find in Canada or on export models.…………...KINGSWAY. 1951 Dodge D39 business coupe. The Canadian Dodge is really a Plymouth but with Dodge trim unique to the Canadian model. The American Dodge was a bigger car and none of the trim is interchangeable.

Robert, what I can see of the coupe in this picture looks good.  Is it done now?

Yes, Bob, it is. Seven years start to finish. Powertrain is stock. Engine full rebuild. Colour is pretty close to an original Mopar colour. Interior done to my tastes as I never really liked the old grey striped mohair. It still has a few minor teething problems but I have put close to a 1000 miles on it since finishing.
