Thunderbird 460 Posted June 4, 2019 Posted June 4, 2019 Anyone know of a good place to buy interior material and supplies now that LaBarron & Bonney is done. Looking for headliner material for a 1948 Dodge D-24.
casper50 Posted June 4, 2019 Posted June 4, 2019 Got mine off of ebay. Unfortunately, it was long enough ago there are no records of where and or who I bought it from. It was fairly priced foam backed. 2
Plymouthy Adams Posted June 4, 2019 Posted June 4, 2019 are you referring to WLS Headliner in Georgia?
Mark D Posted June 4, 2019 Posted June 4, 2019 Used two sources from eBay, both delivered a good kit. Material for the interior of at least one of my cars came from SMS out west, but many have not been happy with them. All went well for me. Next time around I’ll go to an upholstery store and find a decent substitute.
busycoupe Posted June 4, 2019 Posted June 4, 2019 It has been ten yrs, but I bought a headliner from Kanter. They were very helpful an sent me some samples to choose from before I bought it. I also bought some extra fabric to have my sunvisors covered to match.
gwaggonercpa Posted June 4, 2019 Posted June 4, 2019 I bought the headliner for my 55 Plymouth from WLS and was very satisfied.
Greg51T&CWagon Posted June 4, 2019 Posted June 4, 2019 I dealt with SMS last Fall, There was a problem with the material that was not their fault, they very quickly and graciously made good and I got a really good match for the imitation Croc hide I needed.
RobertKB Posted June 5, 2019 Posted June 5, 2019 Just got a headliner for my '51 Dodge D39 business coupe from Headliner Mart in Dallas, Texas. Perfect fit. They have a website.
