47ChryslerWindsor Posted May 9, 2019 Report Share Posted May 9, 2019 Alrighty, As my luck would have it I had a little incident with the car. No casualties but the rear fender chrome is now off. The chrome isn't damaged but the mounting strip that was behind it snapped (lucky for me it was olllllld.) Anyway I can't seem to find anything on said strip mounting. Its a long tapered bit. Plymouthy Adams Posted May 9, 2019 Report Share Posted May 9, 2019 on the ones I have dealt with in the past these inner strips can be removed, new inserts made and inserted back on to the rim. Dodgeb4ya Posted May 9, 2019 Report Share Posted May 9, 2019 How did your mldg retainer get torn off? It's held on with several studs. Those are kinda a tough item to find.
