thebelvedereman
just wondering if any guys are coming to New Jersey for Lead East this year, not quite as big as Carlisle but close, and it focuses on 30s through 50s cars not the newer muscle cars, so many of these guys all have 55 - 57 Chevys, it would be nice to see some Mopars

thebelvedereman
We usually go to the kraft B lot, my friends always rent hotel rooms too, I don't, I'm only 20 minutes from the place, and I have to go home and feed my furry kids at night
BigDaddyO
I've gone almost every year for the last 25 years or so. I didn't go last year and wouldn't you know it, it was the last year that Terry was running the show.
thebelvedereman
yeah, it's pretty sad that he retired, but the new owners are going to make it the same or even better, and they actually lowered the prices a little
DonaldSmith
Lead - Is this lead (leed) as to direct? Or Lead (ledd) as in the metal used to fill in customized auto bodies? (The word "read" has the same problem. Present tense, read (reed) the book, past tense read (redd) the book.)

Pb Lead Sled; slang for a customized car with a lot of body filler. *led Bill Hines was the most recognized 'Lead Slinger' from back in the day. He passed away 7 March of 2016. In almost every picture of him he's chopmin' on a fat cigar. https://autoweek.com/article/car-life/remembering-bill-hines Edited August 7, 2018 by BigDaddyO Additional info
