Terry Ballard Posted November 9, 2017 Posted November 9, 2017 I am having a extremely hard time finding anything for my truck..can anyone point me in the right direction?....I am looking for motor mounts to install a Chevy small block, job rated emblems, and interior pieces. I also have a few newbie questions I would like to ask someone in the know.... thanks in advance, Terry 1
59bisquik Posted November 9, 2017 Posted November 9, 2017 You can try DCMClassics.com or Robertsmotorparts.com for parts. As for the the Chevy swap, I have never seen a kit and I would doubt you will get much help around here for that. Might be a better question for the HAMB if your set on doing a small block swap.
j scott Posted November 9, 2017 Posted November 9, 2017 Also Andy Burnbaum obsolete moparparts. Keep the Dodge a Dodge, put a 318 in there . 3
Plymouthy Adams Posted November 9, 2017 Posted November 9, 2017 hard to figure the need for job rated emblems with a brand X engine.....the dripping oil and puffing smoke between gear changes everyone going know it is a SBC... 1

Look at:B series truck parts for sale Ggdadd1951 may have some stuff or be able to help. As far as SBC engine, it will be easier to mate Dodge to Dodge and you will get the support here you are going to need/want. Lastly, the hunt is half the fun!
Los_Control Posted November 9, 2017 Posted November 9, 2017 Do a search for "Small Block Chevy Engine Cradle Front Motor Mount" I would think it might be the easiest way to set the motor. You will still need to make or modify the cross member for the trans mount and also rear end swap.
Terry Ballard Posted November 10, 2017 Author Posted November 10, 2017 Thanks!!...I think the cradle may be what we were looking for!
Shovelhead Dave Posted November 10, 2017 Posted November 10, 2017 Just buy motor mounts for putting Chevy V8 into a Jeep CJ, very easy. 1
