Batterzazu
Good day, i have a Pilothouse with the original motor. Do these have vacuum advance?
NiftyFifty
Some did and some didn't, my 1950 1 ton never did, nor did my 51 parts truck. Most cars did I believe and 1/2 tons made in the US, Canada seems to be more without advance
Los_Control
Seems like it should have vacuum advance, I would want it. I know a lot of these engines were used for industrial and farm purpose, they just sat and ran at one speed all the time and had no vacuum advance. For normal driving conditions you would want it. Jerry Roberts
If you can tell me the model number of your 1948 1 1/2 ton truck I will look up the answer for you .
Batterzazu
My model number is B-3HHA152
Jerry Roberts
My book shows that model number for 1951 HH series . No vacuum chamber was used . My book also stops at 1951 so it is possible that that model was also used in 1952 and 1953 . My notes show that the B3 series was used in 1951 1952 1953 .
