Saturday October 19:

Out for an evening cruise with the kids.  They were really excited to go (as was I); fall smells were in the air and colors have been so brilliant lately.  We didn't go far (just around town), but to have my kids with enjoying the moment is priceless.

Warming up at home.  It got chilly so we cranked the heat ?

Friday October 25, 2019:

I have the day off ?

It's a brisk 25 degrees, and everything is beautifully frosted over.  I fired up the Meadowbrook for a run to Kwik Trip for breakfast sandwiches, donuts, and coffee for the wife and I.

Here's some pics while it was warming up.

"Winter storage" is a really sad combination of words...

Yup the 46 pickup went in a couple weekends ago. The 64 wagon will likely go sunday or monday. I'm holding that one up trying to squeeze in a trip to the apple orchard. I will keep my 47 pickup at the house to continue slowly working on it. That one does sit outside though :(

October 25:

Took the Meadowbrook out again to grab lunch.  What a difference a few hours makes; our maple lost all of it's leaves!  Scroll up to the earlier photo

October 25:

We stopped at the liquor store first to get wine for my wife.  While I was in the store, an employee from the butcher shop across the street ran over to ask about the Meadowbrook.  He was in his mid-60s at least, so he appreciated the car and was excited to see it.  I told him about how I drove it to work when it was -30F.  He didn't seem too surprised.  I was happy he inquired and he was happy I shared.

I see that your 6V generator, regulator & lighting systems are also all in top order!

Everything works good Keith.  No problems with the generator since my friend rebuilt it a couple years ago?
