Tbuck1971
I have a 1948 Dodge Dually Pilothouse Stakebed. Any idea what actual model this is B-1-C or B-2-C as example? Also, I currently have a single barrel carburetor (Carter/Ball & Ball), would I benefit any by adding another intake and adding a second carburetor? Thank You! P15-D24
It's a 1 ton so the model would be "D".

ruff1148kr
It always stuns me how well some of these work trucks held up nicer than my daily driver LOL
Merle Coggins
Nice truck. Most likely a B-1-D if the '48 year is correct. As for the dual carb question... Yes, many have converted their intakes for dual carbs. There are also dual carb intakes out there. Some are rather pricey but sometimes you get lucky. To really achieve the gains from dual carbs you may want to consider splitting the exhaust for dual exhaust too. Use the Search function and you'll find many guys that run this setup on their cars and trucks. Merle
