James_Douglas Posted December 22, 2015 Author Report Share Posted December 22, 2015 To finish out this thread... I got the shims back from the shop. The Water Jet makes nice work of it. I ended up needing three of the 0.010 shims and one of the 0.003 shims for a total of 0.033 to get it in perfect alignment with the cam gear. You can see the cut shims, the shims in place if you look real hard, and the final nice alignment. What a pain in the ass sometimes to do things correct!
