Can be a complicated answer, but if you have an existing reg on hand, the job is a bit easier. Otherwise we have a pre 73 rule on smog and several hot rod laws to contend with. 48D

We have the police come out and he just checks the frame or vin #S if applicable. Cake Walk. Done this many times.
48Dodger
Making some more progress: 1. Broke the bed free using the bent bumper as leverage 2. With the separation complete, we removed the bumper 3. Pushed the bed up and eventually over. 4,5. more of the same. 6. My progress board.....keeping the peace inside my head...lol 48D

48Dodger
Got some more done concerning pulling the cab. I decided to lift the cab off with the engine hoist and park it for bit while I work on the frame. The bed is gonna sit this build out for now, but will not be melted down for beer money! lol 48D

48Dodger
love the tail light set up on the bed never saw that before Yes...its very well thought out. I plan on saving it, cleaning it up and using it for a different truck. I haven't followed the wiring, so I'm not sure what each light was for....1. running light 2. brake light 3. turning light ??? Seems one of them could have been a dual bulb for brake and running lights....just haven't checked yet. 48D
