JBNeal Posted June 11, 2015 Report Share Posted June 11, 2015 the Dodge truck starter has a pinion that is manually (well, podiatrically) engaged to the flywheel ring gear to get the crankshaft to turn over, with a fork mechanism engaged by a foot pedal...it's a simple design that works well, so ya don't want to fork that up Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
