So unless I get scammed I picked this up yesterday with an expected delivery of mid-May.  It will come less the bed, but I would make a FEF hauler out of it anyway...I see an 8bt swap and brake upgrade...

its a 52 according to the add, I will see once I see the data tag/title

 

As for paint....a lot will depend on the true condition of the metal.  It MIGHT stay as it is if it's in good condition for a while.  I also MIGHT just get it running to get some miles on it before I worry about a power train transplant as I have a few other projects to do (TODD for one).  Add also says engine turns freely, so some compression tests and replace missing parts and might be good to run.

Nice 2-1/2 tonner!

 

I always wanted a cab over B3 or 4 but never found a real good ruist free truck.Now I"m finished collecting any more...have too many trucks :eek:

i would guess "JM" model?,  my neighbor to the north is your answer MAN!

Whoopsie Whoopsie..... :eek:

 

I made a big weight rating mistake on this nice cab over you found...it's either a FM..1-1/2 ton, or a GM..1-1/2 ton, or a HM..1-1/2 ton.. or lastly a HHM which is a heavy duty H series two tonner.

 

Please post us the info off the DATA plate when you get er home mark!

you won't need to do a brake upgrade with that bad-boy.  the remote booster will lock up all six wheels no problem.  only caveat to that is that the drums themselves aren't worn too thin, so that shoe clearance is correct.

Yep...

The bigger trucks have wonderful brakes when working as designed. Most all have a frame mounted Midland booster except some of the lighter duty F and G trucks.
