Ammeter terminals

I looked at the amp gauges I have in the box, and none of them were marked on the cardboard insulator.  However, one of the complete clusters that was pulled still had the red wire on the terminal on the right (directly behind the discharge side)...if that doesn't work out, swap terminals :cool:

That is what I thought but it turned out not to be the case. I couldnt't stand it so I hooked the battery up and checked the polarity on the ammeter. I hooked it up as JB suggested above. I turned on the dome light and the wipers ( only thing cnnnected now) and the ammeter discharged. Not sure what the "I" is for. Anyway the wiper worked great and the dome light was bright!
