While I do not know where that one is,  I do know where there is a 1951 dodge business coupe that may actually have a nicer interior than that one and I believe it is still for sale.  I could certainly give you his information.  He is in New York state which well still a hike from you, might be closer than the 1 in california !

Thanks Tim and thanks Rob -

I think Rob's inquiry and Tim's note were the push I needed. Too many projects and reluctantly other interests and a wife watching over my shoulder and I think the Dodge coupe may have to go. When it became obvious this isnt what Rob is looking for,  I talked to Tim and he hooked me up and the car is listed in the classified for less than I was offered when I showed the car. Back then it just wasnt for sale. But drag racing has always been in the back on my mind and when George Asche and Tim Kingsbury put together their dragster, I think I got the bug for a dragster.  Mine isnt a flathead and it is a front engine dragster.  I do have an Asche built big block and an AoK triple so flatheads wont be totally out of my world, but for now its time to let someone else enjoy my baby and hopefully as much as we have.  Sorry if I am breaking rules with my 1st post.

I got a reply back from my inquiry about the red Dodge.

While really nice, it is well beyond my budget of around 20 thousand...

It was nice they they replied so quickly though!

$27,500 oh boy thats a big difference in money between that one and the one Tim Kingsbury has tipped us off on. I see what looks like modern leather seats and console in it so maybe it is also sporting a v8 under its hood. That seems to give a lot of people the idea they are worth more money although for me its the opposite. Now that being said even at $27,500 for the bizzy coupes they are getting into that range it seems. Maybe I am just getting to old!
