This is a second one on EBay with a good shot of the bottom the other one looks similar but they don't have as good a shot of the bottom.

Those bad boys are a bit pricey.

That is the proper truck underside. The hook at the rear with a horizontal screw that pushes back against the hook when installed.  The car ones that are similar just have 2 vertical screws

Thanks for the comments & information.  As I understand this was a single year design, correct?

Correct 41 only. 39-40 similar ship but it doesn't come to a point because it connects with the trim for the grill

UPDATE on glove box.

I thought some of you might be interested in this due to the courtesy and the quick reply to my question from Collectors Auto Supply,Inc.

They look like the kind of people I want to do business with,if possible.

"

Hi Arthur,

From what I have been able to find this glove box should be able to fit your Dodge, but I have reached out to the manufacturer to confirm.

Once I hear back from the manufacturer with the schematics I will send them to you, so that you are able to double-check the fitment on your truck prior to ordering.

Let us know if you have any other questions, and we will be happy to help you!

Thanks,
Michael

If they end up being as good as you hope, add them to the sticky post of vendors at the top of this forum page

Complete Seat Bottom Cushion

Will probably NEVER find a matching Seat Back Cushion

(this is NOT to be considered a parts request) ?

Also picked this up on EBay last week, not sure if it is NOS, but a nice collectable,

does not seem to have been used, but not stored correctly either;

I know this post was from over 6 years back, but I was wondering if you could confirm that the picture here is a 41 Ply PU hood ornament.

(I am not in need of one myself - my cousin.)

Damn shame he didn't paint that truck red. It would have really stood out.

Just thinking about this a bit more, and curious if the 41 Plymouth PU hood ornament is otherwise identical to the car's ornament.  That is, is the visible portion of the piece the same as on the cars?

I do realize that there are some variations from one casting to another, even on the same model run.  Some are very minute, others very noticeable.  (Some time back I posted photos of the hood ornaments that came off of my 46 and 49 1st series, and they are quite different in design detail.)

I have 2 of those on the shelf....back when I was hot to put them on FEF....needless to say I spent over $200 on them....slightly different version tho, mine do not have the bag, they suggest a BALL jar as a reservoir!

1195725 Fresh Air Intake Package

I spotted this amongst a pile of boxes in a hodgepodge lot at the Big Spring Auction, snagged it for about a sawbuck, but the water valve was liberated somewhere along the way, and the replaceable air valve gasket is a crumbled memory.

Also, remember there are less and less people who can do a good job/even know what to do.  Pretty easy to take a damamged piece and "repair" it worse in the wrong hands.
