vht Posted October 20, 2014 Report Posted October 20, 2014 Where is the best place to buy some weather striping for my 51 Dodge business coupe? I need front and rear window seals around windshield and back glass. Quote
desoto1939 Posted October 20, 2014 Report Posted October 20, 2014 I feel that Steele has the best rubber products but he is the most expensive. You can try Roberts and or Bernbuams also and maybe Metro rubber. Rich HArtung Desoto1939@aol.com Quote
vht Posted October 21, 2014 Author Report Posted October 21, 2014 The cheapest I found is Andy Bernbaum at around $100 each on the windshield rubber and rear glass. Quote
Ulu Posted October 21, 2014 Report Posted October 21, 2014 All the rubber stuff I bought from Bernbaum fit OK but except for the driveshaft boots, didn't seem to last too long. My car was a daily driver though. And I bought the stuff 30+ years ago, so perhaps they've improved. Pedal pads, draft stops, grommets, boots, wing seals, brake seals, 6 wheel cylinders, windshield gasket, suspension bushings, tie rod ends, trans parts kit, wheel bearings, brake shoes, and more...I spent a bundle at Andy's. The Oil Soup Posted October 21, 2014 Report Posted October 21, 2014 Steele is definitely the most accurate reproduction of vintage glass rubber. Some of the other sources can be under or over sized, incorrect profile or poor quality material. Quote
