Don, that's what I am using.  I tried the napa web site for a 1947 Plymouth,  no match.. they have plenty of caps.. Any search ideas?

Drive to your local NAPA dealer and keep trying gas caps until you find one that fits. If it happens to be an unattractive one that hides behind a door,at least you know what make and model car gas cap will interchange with your p-15 cap.

Since today is Sunday, you might have to try your local O'Briens,Auto Zone, etc, etc, etc.

As mentioned earlier, look for a vented one.

Go for a locking one,and chances are you won't "lose" another one.

Advance Auto Stant 10623 $6.49 on the shelf or Gates 31623

Edit:  Mitchell Motor Parts will sell you the stant cap made in the usa for about $25
