best thing is determine your price and if you get it..then it was meant to be..if however it skyrockets out of sight early and there is a bidding war then sit back and enjoy the show...fun at no cost that way....the last two guys will # I have bidders remorse later and the second guy..will be wiping his brow say whew..that was close..glad I was out bid...

I'm guessing it'll be decided for me. It's been advertised quite a bit, and I doubt it'll go cheap. I'm guessing it'll be way on the high side of $10K.

10k seems cheap to me. I'd guess more towards 20

You might be surprised. They advertised the bejeebers out of that 100-car auction near my town in Kansas last fall and hundreds of people showed up and still some nice cars went for what I thought were very good prices. One of the dealers said he could've bought three out of four cars at that sale and made money reselling, but didn't have the means to handle them all and was glad to see enthusiasts taking them home.

It's at least worth showing up.  :)

Looking at all the pictures, it needs paint, rechroming of the tail light housings and bumpers, recover the seats and a good cleanup of the undercarraige.  That is without seeing it in person. With all that, add probably $10K of work, it would probably be a $20K to $25K car. My guess on selling price? $15K.

Still, I wouldn't be embarrassed to be seen in it!

If the wife likes it, it lights your fire and you've got the money,....go for it.  If you feel you paid too much, just figure on amortizing the difference over the years of fun you'll have.

I figure that anytime you can get a car like that, for less than a new economy car...it's a good deal. But if it just looks good from a distance, and a bit beat close up, one does have to look at the cost to put in "more better" condition.

What's a guy to do???

Check REALLY closely for rust in the floor pans and especially around the spring hangers in the rear.

Other than that, you are supposed to buy it. It has fins!

You can tell all that from looking at those photos?

Your eyes must be a hell of a lot better than mine!

Car sells in 1 hour. About what I describes above. Re painted, not the best, no do behind rr wheel, I'd say $6k, but there are 6 car trailers/wedge trucks here and one car. Including one classic car company.

I predict $15k.

The price guide I just looked up shows 27K for a #2 car. You add in the one owner and low miles and 33k doesn't surprise me one bit.

Must have had the extra large fins............lol....33K!...........better your credibility than your wallet.....lol....andyd
