1948-53 PH Rear Bumpers......

A reproduction bumper on a classic truck is sacrilegious. It just seems disrespectful.

I don't remember Patina being a factory color..... ;)

If  that is the case then what about disc brakes, addition of aftermarket seat belts, replacement arm rests, replacement mirrors, etc?

I think he's talking about the appearance of being sacrilegious....not being completely angelic. lol

If aftermarket parts are sacrilege-what about hip & knee replacements, heart meds,  etc. for the owners?  We're all (trucks and owners) getting to the point the the OEM parts are wearing out and no longer available from the manufacturer.  Yea, I know its only original once.......

And them cats and dogs will start sleeping together and all hell will break loose.

But seriously I do search for the nos or used part first then if I cannot find it I try other avenues.

I am still hunting for a straight rear bumper if they are to be had out there
