Oldguy48 Posted October 27, 2013 Report Posted October 27, 2013 I just stumbled upon an upcoming local auction listing a 1948 Plymouth Coupe. If you google "auctionzip", the sale is November 9, in Bloomsburg, PA. Photos are provided. I do not know the owner, nor have anything to do with the auction. I'm just mentioning it here in the event any of the forum members would be interested. I believe I have seen this vehicle around the area, and it looks pretty nice, although I have not seen it close-up. If anyone is interested enough to attend the auction, PM me. I'll invite you to my place for a cold lager, and a chat. Wayne Quote
Oldguy48 Posted November 10, 2013 Author Report Posted November 10, 2013 Well, I was unable to attend the auction today, but I e-mailed the auction company tonight to see what the Plymouth sold for. It did not sell. The owner had set a reserve price of $12,000, which was not met. The auction company said the seller was motivated, and would negotiate. Wayne Quote
